Building a Pizza Machine in Under 30 Minutes
If you like pizza, then this project is for you!
Have you ever craved pizza so badly, but you were too lazy to get the pizza? Well with just a few gears and ingredients, you will be making pizza in no time!
Before we made this machine, we thought that it was going to be impossible! Then we learned that with a few simple steps, a pizza machine could be made. Our goal was to create a machine which would spin the dough by itself and with the forward and backward movement of your hand, would spread the sauce all over the pizza.
You will need a lego set, a plate, dough, and some sauce.
Step 1: You will need to find a platform that is flat and stable to hold the motor, along with the gears needed to make the machine move. (shown in the picture above.)
Step 2: Use lego building blocks to surround the motor as it is put on the platform so the motor will be stable and can stay in place.
Step 3: Attach multiple axles to the motor which will allow the plate to spin so it will be easier to spread toppings along the pizza.
Step 4: A small gear should be directly attached to the motor following a big gear attached to the smaller gear. This will help the movement and stability of the pizza machine.
Step 5: Attach a circular lego piece to the top of the axle, where the plate can rest. You can later poke a hole into the plate and put it on top of the circular piece.
Step 6: Attach any remaining stoppers along the axles if needed. The more stoppers, the more stable the machine will be!
With these simple steps, you will no longer crave for the beautiful taste of pizza.
